Mostly mates after rains and cubs are born between February-May. Cubs stay with mother for 2 years. Sexual maturity for females-2 years and males-4 years. Status: Schedule-1 of Wildlife Protection Act, Endangered. (IUCN Red Data Book) Appendix of CITES. Currently Nandan Kanan has over 34 white tigers.
